What facilities does FOS have?
Currently, FOS has the Overlake School gym for 21 weeks (Sundays from 4-7 pm.) from January through May. We also have Redmond High School for nine weeks on Wednesday from 6-9pm. We will be given a time slot at Eastlake High School when they are awarded. At the time of this writing, we are negotiating to get a local outdoor field for 3-5 nights per week. This gives us over 200 hours of indoor and outdoor use. Players can come and learn, or come and just play, or stay at home. There is no penalty for not participating. We are in the process of acquiring 2 other sites. One is a 5 acre parcel where we want to build a dedicated FOS softball diamond and indoor training facility. The other is a new private high school field and gym on Novelty Hill. We expect to be the primary user after the high school team.
